Type: USB-C Connector (Device Side)(Keyboard Side)
Pieces: 3 pieces
Shell: Metal
This USB-C 2.0 connector will work perfectly on any cable build or DIY project. It consists of a small PCB and two metal parts that make up the shell. The PCB has four solder pads to solder the wires on. The PCB also has clear markings to show you exactly which solder pads to use. Pads that are marked “V” and “G” are used for the power wires and the pads that are marked “D+” and “D-” for data wires. The shell can easily be installed over the PCB once the four wires have been soldered on. Use pliers to crimp the shell tightly around the cable.
USB-C connectors come in two types, namely Host and Device. A Host connector you will use to plug into a PC and a Device connector you will use to plug into a keyboard. A USB-C to USB-C cable will need one Device connector and one Host connector. Please contact us if you need a Host side connector.
